  1. How does the HolaDoctor Multilingual Translation Portal work?
    The HolaDoctor Multilingual Translation Portal is a user-friendly application that allows the client to submit and organize documents requiring translation. The client simply uploads the material for translation to the Translation Portal, and HolaDoctor handles the rest. After the translation process is complete, the client receives an email indicating that the translated material is ready to be downloaded from the portal.

  2. How do I register as a new user?
    To set up your account, call us toll free at 1-877-846-5237 or contact your account manager.

  3. How do I submit documents for translation?
    1. Sign in.
    2. Click "Submit".
    3. Click "Browse" to select your document. You may also paste the text directly into the "Paste Text Here" field (up to 5 KB of text).
    4. Select the Source Language (the language of the existing document) and Target Language (the language of the document that you will get back).
    5. For your reference, add a Job Name (e.g. a Purchase Order number).
    6. Notes to the Translator: Enter pertinent information about the document in this field to assist the translator in translating your document. You may enter special instructions regarding the context of the document, or the intended audience.
    7. Click "Submit Request" at the end of the page. If you have additional files to submit, please continue uploading files; otherwise click "Finished" to complete your submission request. Our translation team will analyze the document and proceed with the translation.

  4. How do I track the status of a document I've submitted?
    In order to track the status of a document you've submitted, you can either view a quick status in the "Active Documents" section on the Home Page or click on the "Search Documents" tab at the top of the page. This page will provide you details on your projects like: submission date, file name, status (e.g. uploaded, in progress, editorial review, completed), number of words, format in, format out and total cost.

  5. How do I download completed documents?
    When the translation of your document is completed, you will receive a notification email. To download the document:
    1. Sign in to the HolaDoctor Multilingual Translation Portal. Click "Download" next to your document name in the "Active Documents" section from the main page. You can also retrieve your document by going through the "Search Documents" tab at the top of the main page.
    2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download your document. Your documents will be available for unlimited download for up to 30 days from the document completion date. After 30 days, you can contact HolaDoctor and we will send you the document via email.

  6. What file formats do you accept and deliver?

    We accept and deliver the following type of files:

    1. doc (Word Document)
    2. ppt (Power Point)
    3. xls (Excel)
    4. pdf ( Adobe)
    5. rtf
    6. htm
    7. html
    8. htx
    9. sgml
    10. txt
    11. asp

    All other file types and projects (tables & graphics) require a HolaDoctor staff member to view the material and to provide you with a custom quote.


  7. What source languages do you accept?
    English. Other languages may be accepted upon special review by a HolaDoctor staff member.

  8. How do I pay you?
    An invoice will be sent to the contact who submitted the translation project at the end of the month. The invoice will include charges for documents that were downloaded during that month.
